“UNVEILING OF BRAND AMBASSADORS FOR NAIJAFACE MODEL ‘19”

It was an epoch making event on Monday, 15th April 2019, when the promoters of Naijafacemodel had its inaugural meeting with their Brand Ambassadors at their upscale office in Lekki, Lagos.

Welcoming all present was Mr Dotun Adekanbi, the Managing Director of Beaconade Networks, a reputable ICT firm and one of the directors of the project. Also present at the meeting was Mr Folajimi Adeloye, one of the Project Directors.

Naija face model is aimed at creating platform for the youth who are passionate about furthering their career in the creative industry. It is opened to male and female models age 18 to 30 from all parts of Nigeria. Plus size models who also wish to participate can register.

The company was established to search for and nurture global ambassadors like Agbani Darego, former Miss World and Oluchi Onweagba, Africa’s queen of the runway. Models stand the chance of being brand ambassadors to blue chip companies, take on lead roles in high budget movie productions, do cover for publications, win mouthwatering prizes like cars, plots of lands in choice locations, holiday trips to exotic destinations and much more.

Monalisa Stephen, Sandra Onuora and Livinus Osakuye are the first three Brand Ambassadors of Naijafacemodel. . Also present at the event were Michael Uchegbu, a Nollywood actor and voice over personality, Gbemisola Oshodi, Oludare Sorunke, Executive Editor, DUDU BLOG, photographers, make-up artists and social media influencers and strategists. Each Brand Ambassador signed a two year contract.

The Directors assured that the benefits of the project are enormous, vary from cash to kind, and informed that discussions are ongoing with reputable brands for endorsements and sponsorship. They also said that the first task was to launch Season 1 of the project, which will wind up by fourth quarter 2019. They enjoined everyone to participate actively towards the success of the project.

Expectation is to roll out about 10,000 forms and auditions hold in all the six geo-political zones in Nigeria.
